Hola, iam Annie Wilson, I hope all goes well today.

Whoa, talk about a blast from the past! Ever wonder who created the yard? Well, it turns out that it was an Englishman by the name of Edward I. He was king of England from 1272 to 1307 and he’s credited with introducing the yard as a unit of measurement. He based it on his own arm span, which is pretty cool if you ask me! So there you have it - Edward I created the yard and we’ve been using it ever since. Ain’t that something?

¿Quién Creó La Yarda? [Solved]

Wow, Galileo figured out way back in the 17th century that the swing of a pendulum depended on its length! In England, they defined the unit of length, the yard, as 36/39'1393 of the length of a pendulum with a period of one second.

La yarda fue creada por el rey inglés Eduardo I en 1266. Se dice que él tomó la idea de una antigua medida romana llamada “ulna”. Esto significa que la yarda es una medida antigua, ¡pero sigue siendo usada hoy en día!
