Oh man, talk about a bummer! Pixiv, the popular Japanese online community for artists and illustrators, recently got banned in China. It’s a real shame since it was such an awesome platform for creative expression. But hey, that’s life - you win some, you lose some. Still, it’s hard not to feel like this is a major setback for the art world. Here’s hoping they can find another way to keep the creative juices flowing!

If a violation’s confirmed, not only can the work be nixed or set to private forever, but the user’s account could also get banned or limited on what payment methods it can use.
Pixiv is a Japanese website that allows users to upload and share artwork, but it recently got banned in China. It’s a real bummer ‘cause lots of people used it to show off their creative work. But the Chinese government had their reasons for blocking it, so there’s not much we can do about it. Oh well, guess we’ll just have to find another way to get our art out there!
