Whoa, talk about a bummer! Rice Krispies have been banned in Europe due to an ingredient that’s been linked to cancer. It’s a real shame, ‘cause those crunchy little squares were a staple for so many of us growing up. Well, these popular breakfast cereals - Frosted Flakes, Honey Bunches of Oats, and Rice Krispies - contain BHT, a flavor enhancer. It’s been studied for ages to see if it has any carcinogenic properties but the jury’s still out. In Japan and the EU though, they’ve banned it.
Wow, Rice Krispies have been banned in Europe - that’s crazy! Apparently, the cereal contains too much sugar and has been deemed unhealthy. It’s a real bummer for all the Rice Krispies fans out there. I guess it just goes to show that you can’t always get what you want!
